Licenses By Product Report

The Licenses By Product Report displays a list of licenses for a given Product over specified date range, grouped by Product.

To view this report, click the Reports menu, scroll down to the Licenses section, and click Licenses by Product.

Report Options

Report Type
The report type. Options are as follows:
  • Adobe Acrobat: The report will be generated as an Adobe Acrobat file (pdf).
  • Microsoft Excel: The report will be generated as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet (xls).
  • Comma Separated Value: The report will be generated as a comma separated value file (csv).
  • XML by Elements: The report will be generated as xml with separate elements for each field.
  • XML by Parameters: The report will be generated as xml with a single element containing an attribute for each field.
Start/End Date
The date range to run the report for. This will include licenses based on their creation date. The activation data for those licenses will not be limited by the specified date range, and will include data the occurred after the End Date (if applicable).

Note that depending on the server configuration, there may be a restriction of the number of days the report can be run for.
Save to Disk
Check this box to save the report to disk. If unchecked, the report will be displayed in an inline frame within the web page, otherwise you will be prompted to save the file to disk.
Product
Choose a Product to filter the report data to only include records for the given Product. Select the default of ALL to include all Products.
Filter Issue License
Check the checkbox to include only licenses for Product Options that have Issue License feature set on the Option configuration.
ClosedMore Information: The Product catalog in SOLO Server often contains licensable software (i.e., where the Issue License check-box is checked on the Product Option record) or other items such as transaction fees or upgrade purchases that do not display a License ID to the end user. You can use the Filter Issue License to only include license records for those Products which are considered to be licensable software products.
Filter Unregistered
Check the checkbox to include only licenses for customers who have registered.
ClosedMore Information: Some SOLO Server users who bulk-enter licenses (via the Customers / Add Multiple Licenses menu option) end up with licenses that are linked to unregistered customer records. You can use the Filter Unregistered check-box to include only licenses for customers who have registered.
Filter OK Status
Check the checkbox to include only licenses with OK status.
ClosedMore Information: If you only want to include those licenses which are considered “active” (i.e., those licenses marked with a status of OK), check the Filter OK Status check-box.
Status Check Days Back
The number of days back from the current date to search each license for a count of active installations which have phoned home to perform a status check.
Sort By
The grouping method of the report. Options are as follows:
  • Entered Date
  • Licensee Name
  • Product Option Name

Total amounts are listed for each Product.

CSV and XML
