Priority Code, Bundle, and Upsell Discounts Report

The Priority Code, Bundle, and Upsell Discounts Report displays a summary of all promotional discounts used within a given date range.

To view this report, click the Reports menu, scroll down to the Store Sales section, and click Priority Code, Bundle, and Upsell Discounts.

Report Options

Report Type

The report type. Options are as follows:

• Adobe Acrobat: The report will be generated as an Adobe Acrobat file (pdf).
• Microsoft Excel: The report will be generated as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet (xls).
• Comma Separated Value: The report will be generated as a comma separated value file (csv).
• XML by Elements: The report will be generated as xml with separate elements for each field.
• XML by Parameters: The report will be generated as xml with a single element containing an attribute for each field.

Start/End Date

The date range to run the report for. Note that depending on the server configuration, there may be a restriction of the number of days the report can be run for.

Save to Disk

Check this box to save the report to disk. If unchecked, the report will be displayed in an inline frame within the web page, otherwise you will be prompted to save the file to disk.

Global/Author

Available to users with global access permission. Check the Global checkbox to run the report across all authors, or choose an author from the Author drop down to run the report against a specific author.

Report Output

PDF and XLS

Promotions are displayed broken down into four categories:

• Combo Discount Priority Codes: All discounts due to combo discounts. A combo discount is a discount resulting from buying an upsell product on the cart that has an upsell discount defined. Any products with upsell discounts defined will have each upsell discount listed as well as the total number of times the discount was used. See Configuring Upsells for more details.
• Bundled Offers: All discounts due to the purchase of discounted bundles. The total count for each bundled offer will be displayed, and expanding the bundle will show details of the products within the bundle. See Adding a Bundled Product and Product Option for more details.
• Author Level Priority Codes: All discounts due to author level priority codes. The priority code as well as a description of the code will be displayed along with the count of how many times the code was used.
• Product Level Priority Codes: All discounts due to product level priority codes. Each code will be listed, and can be expanded to give details by product.
