Trial Welcome (Product) Mailings

This mailing is sent to the customer when they request a trial for a Product through Trial Tracking.

SOLO Server Shared URL customers who would like to use this mailing need to contact support@softwarekey.com and sign up for Trial Tracking and Marketing Services.

Mailing Parameters

The following search and replace fields are supported for this mailing:

• [varRegID] - Trial Registration ID.
• [varProductName] - The product name.
• [varProductID] - The Product ID.
• [varDistributorID] - The Distributor ID, if present.
• [varTrialDownloadURL] - Trial URL of the product.
• [varLatestVersion] - The Latest Version field from the product.
• [varCompanyName] - The trial customer's company name.
• [varFirstName] - The trial customer's first name.
• [varLastName] - The trial customer's last name.
• [varEmail] - The trial customer's company email address.
• [varAddress1] - The trial customer's address line 1.
• [varAddress2] - The trial customer's address line 2.
• [varCity] - The trial customer's city.
• [varStateProvince] - The trial customer's state/province.
• [varPostalCode] - The trial customer's postal code.
• [varCountry] - The trial customer's country.
• [varPhone] - The trial customer's phone number.
• [varSource] - The trial source.
• [varMisc1] to [varMisc7] - Miscellaneous user defined data fields 1 through 7.

How to Send

To set up the mailing for a specific Product:

• Use the menu Configure / Products.
• Click on a Product.
• Use the drop-down Actions / Edit to get to the Edit Product page.
• Set the Trial Mailing Welcome field to the correct mailing.
