Configuring PayPal for SOLO Server Self-Hosted or Dedicated URL

If you have SOLO Server Self-Hosted with the optional e-Commerce license or are using SOLO Server Dedicated URL, you can complete the PayPal configuration from within SOLO Server.

PayPal Payments Standard Configuration

Follow these steps to configure your PayPal Standard account:

1. Go to the menu Admin / Merchant Accounts.
2. Click the Add New button.
3. Set the Type to PayPal Payments Standard, and configure the merchant account settings, including setting the Enabled checkbox to true, and then and click Save.
4. Go to the menu Admin / Account Options and click the Edit button.
5. Set the Credit cards Enabled checkbox to true.
6. Change the Merchant ID drop-down to the PayPal merchant account you configured from above.
7. Click the Save button.

PayPal Payments Pro (PayFlow Edition) Configuration

Follow these steps to configure your PayPal Pro account:

1. Create a new User as described under PayPal Payments Pro (PayFlow Edition).
2. Go to the SOLO Server menu Admin / Merchant Accounts.
3. Click the Add New button.
4. Set the Type to PayPal Payments Pro, and configure the merchant account settings, including setting the Enabled checkbox to true, and then and click Save.
5. Go to the menu Admin / Account Options and click the Edit button.
6. Set the Credit Cards Enabled checkbox to true.
7. Change the Merchant ID drop-down to the PayPal Pro merchant account you configured from above (it will list the Display Name).
8. Click the Save button.
