Affiliate Welcome Mailings

This mailing is sent when an affiliate signs up through the affiliate sign-up page in SOLO Server.

Mailing Parameters

This mailing supports the following search and replace parameters:

• [varWebSiteURL] - The Web Site URL entered by the affiliate.
• [varAffiliateID] - The Affiliate ID assigned to the new affiliate by SOLO Server.
• [varUserID] - The User ID entered by the new affiliate.
• [varPassword] - The password entered by the new affiliate.
• <URL> - The full URL to the affiliate routing page.
• <LOGININFO> - The full URL and userid/password to log in and check sales.

Mailing Sample Content

If no Affiliate Welcome mailing is defined, a generic e-mail will be sent to the newly signed up affiliate.

Welcome and thank you for joining our Affiliate Program!

Place a link on your web site that points to the following URL:

<URL>

This URL contains your affiliate account information. Anyone who uses this link to purchase our products will automatically be linked to your account and you will receive a commission. You can log in at any time and see how many hits you have gotten and how many people have purchased.

How to Send

After configuring the mailing, to enable it:

• Go to the menu Configure / Distributors.
• Use the dropdown Actions / Options.
• Click the Edit button.
• Set the Affiliate Welcome EMail to the correct mailing.
