Distributor/Affiliate Types

For reporting purposes, Distributors/Affiliates can be assigned user-defined types (for example Affiliate, Distributor, OEM, Retail, etc.). This allows the Unit Compare Report to group sales by Distributor Type. To configure Distributor Types, go to the menu Configure / Distributors, click the Actions drop down and choose Types. This will display a directory of all currently defined Distributor/Affiliate Types. To display, modify, or purge previously existing Distributor Types, click the [View], [Edit] or [Del] (abbreviation for Delete) links. To define and add a new Distributor/Affiliate Type, click the [Add New] link at the top of the page.

Distributor/Affiliate Types are defined by the following fields:

Display Index

Controls the display order of the Distributor/Affiliate Type.

Description

The user-defined name assigned to the Distributor/Affiliate Type.

Include In Unit Compare Report

If this flag is set to True, this Distributor/Affiliate Type will be included in the Unit Compare Report.
